Wisconsin Virtual Academy: Celebrating Our January Students of the Month

We’re thrilled to announce Wisconsin Virtual Academy’s Students of the Month for January! These exceptional students were nominated by their teachers for demonstrating outstanding behavior, academic achievement, and a positive attitude throughout the month. 

To ensure a fair selection process, a random drawing was held to determine the winners from all the deserving nominees. We’re thrilled to highlight the achievements of these students and the positive impact they’ve made on our virtual learning community. 

Elementary School Student of the Month: Zariah Rodriguez – 2nd Grade

Mrs. Zak, Zariah’s teacher, shared this about Zariah’s nomination: “Zariah is almost always the first one to class every day. She attends all classes and is prepared with the required materials. Zariah volunteers to help when needed and always comes to class with a smile.”

Middle School Student of the Month: Cam’Ron Fair – 8th Grade

Ms. Wandler, Cam’Ron’s teacher, shared this about Cam’Ron’s nomination: “I have nominated this student due to his hard work and positive attitude. He is always willing to step outside his comfort zone and assist a teacher with a response, come on mic to read, or get the conversation flowing. Not to mention he has not had an overdue assignment all school year! ”

High School Student of the Month: Rima Elodat – 11th Grade

Ms. Stephens, Rima’s teacher, shared this about Rima’s nomination: “Rima is open to sharing about her hobbies at home with the class.  She shared some pictures of the olive wood bead bracelets she makes and sells in her spare time.  She also volunteered to present her presentation on starting a Christmas Tree Farm in Forestry class and was great to see her own thoughts and tips on the process along with those communication and self-directed learner Vision of a Graduate skills exemplified!”
