Calling All Artists: WIVA Students Invited to Enter the 2025 K12 Art Competition! 

Pick Your Palette: WIVA Encourages Students to Enter the National K12 Art Competition 

Creativity takes center stage this summer as the K12 Art Competition opens for submissions. At WIVA, we love seeing students bring their ideas to life through art and now, they have a chance to shine on a national level.  

The 2025 K12 Art Competition is now open to all students in grades K-12. With more than $15,000 in prizes and a chance to share their artwork nationwide. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to express themselves through art.  

This year, the K12 Art Competition accepts 3D submissions such as sculptures and collages, plus photography submissions.  

Open to all grade levels, students can submit original artwork in one of the three categories: 

• Physical Art – traditional media like paintings, drawings, collages, sculptures, etc. 
• Digital Art – digital illustrations, animations, and designs. 
• Photography – captured with smartphone, DSLR, point and shoot, or film cameras. 

Key Dates: 

• Registration Opens: May 13, 2025 
• Submission Deadline: August 25, 2025 
• Public Voting: August 26 – September 26, 2025 
• Winners Announced: October 22, 2025 

Finalists will present their artwork to the official K12 Art Competition judges in a virtual Zoom gallery. The People’s Choice Winner will be decided through public voting.
