Wisconsin Virtual Academy: Celebrating Our September Students of the Month

We’re thrilled to announce Wisconsin Virtual Academy’s Students of the Month for September! These exceptional students were nominated by their teachers for demonstrating outstanding behavior, academic achievement, and a positive attitude throughout the month. 

To ensure a fair selection process, a random drawing was held to determine the winners from all the deserving nominees. We’re thrilled to highlight the achievements of these students and the positive impact they’ve made on our virtual learning community. 

Elementary School Student of the Month: Marilynn Wrazidlo – 2nd Grade

Ms. Beckstrom, Marilynn’s teacher, shared this about her nomination: “Marilynn has been a shining light in our class meetings. Her kindness and encouragement are infectious. When a new student joined our class, Marilynn took the time to welcome them and offer her assistance. Her willingness to share and her bright smile always brighten our day!”

Middle School Student of the Month: Isabella Newton – 8th Grade

Ms. Stevens, Isabella’s teacher, shared this about her nomination: “Isabella is a dedicated and engaged student in both my Civics class and homeroom. As a returning student to WIVA, she has been very welcoming to new students. She actively participates in class discussions and is always willing to share her thoughts. If she needs help or has questions, she doesn’t hesitate to ask. I was impressed to see her take the initiative to offer advice to new students during one of our first homeroom meetings.”

High School Student of the Month: Zjolie Munguia – 10th Grade

Mr. Harlan, Zjolie’s teacher, shared this about her nomination: “From the very first day, Zjolie was an active and engaged participant in our class. She answered questions, shared personal stories, and offered kind words of encouragement to her classmates, creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment for everyone.”
