Wisconsin students enrolled in a public school are allowed to participate in the Department of Public Instruction's Part-Time Public School Open Enrollment. This allows students to remain enrolled in their current school district while taking 1–2 online courses at Wisconsin Virtual Academy.
The Part-Time Public School Open Enrollment Application must be submitted to and approved by Wisconsin Virtual Academy six weeks prior to the start of the school year for students in grades 9–12. The deadline to submit part-time applications for Fall semester has passed. Spring semester enrollment applications must be submitted by December 11, 2018.
