Support Staff

Kathy Schefft, Enrollment Manager

Kathy Schefft has been with K12 for eleven years. She has the distinction of being the first K12 employee hired for Wisconsin Virtual Academy, and has served as office manager, open enrollment specialist, and enrollment manager during her career with WIVA. Kathy brings more than 18 years of office experience with her, including working in accounting, data/order entry, customer service, engineering, human resources, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and shipping and receiving.

Kathy Siegmann, Testing Coordinator

Kathy Siegmann joined the WIVA team as a K–8 advisor in 2011. She has a bachelor's degree in education from UW-Madison, served on the McFarland School Board that brought the WIVA program to the McFarland district, and was self-employed as a private tutor for more than 10 years. Kathy has been involved with virtual education in Wisconsin for many years, four of those years as a Learning Coach with WIVA. She is a self-proclaimed parent advocate with a passion for helping families find education opportunities that best meet their children's needs. She is thrilled to be a part of the team that supports WIVA families and looks forward to guiding WIVA through the new Wisconsin testing requirements. In addition to transitioning into the Testing Coordinator position, Kathy is pursuing a master's in educational administration from Concordia University-Mequon.

Donna Wagner, School Psychologist

Donna Wagner is so excited to join the educational team at WIVA. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and completed her graduate work in school psychology at Marquette University. Donna brings with her over 15 years of experience in the urban and rural school environments. She looks forward to collaboration with staff, parents, and students to facilitate academic and behavioral growth for all learners.
