Shawn Daniels, High School Special Education Teacher

Shawn joined WIVA as a special education teacher in the 2013-14 school year.  He lives outside of Fond du Lac, WI with his wife, children and foster child.  He earned his BS in Computer Science and Information Technologies from UW-Milwaukee.  He is licensed for teaching through CESA 6 for K-12 Cross Categorical Special Education.  His previous experience includes teaching in a specialized alternative school for students with severe behavioral disorders (SEBD).  Before becoming a teacher, he used his education and skill in the service industry installing large computer networks, electronic security, surveillance systems,  fire alarms, fiber optics, and other geeky electrical systems in prisons, schools, hospitals and large office complexes.  In addition to his love for teaching, Shawn fills his time being with his family, performing as a live sound and lighting producer for 2 mid-west traveling rock bands (and plays a little bass and guitar, too) and enjoying being outdoors in nature (fishing, hunting, etc.)
